Saint James and Ebersol met on the set of Saturday Night Live. She was guest hosting the show, according to The Huffington Post, and he was the executive producer (and later chairman of NBC Sports.)

Even in the deepest grief of her life, she put everyone else first,” the statement said, according to The Huffington Post.
They had some other rocky times in their marriage but overcame them; in 2002, Saint James filed for divorce but the couple reconciled a year later, Huffington Post noted.
The couple’s $6.7 million Los Angeles-area home was once featured in the Robb Report, which published photos showing the modern interior.
