Hugh Hefner’s widow, Crystal Hefner, has been vocal about her experience at the Playboy Mansion, listing some of the celebrities she encountered and their behavior at the Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, home. In an appearance on the “Lisa Guerrero Unleashed” podcast on Tuesday, October 27, she discussed “Saturday Night Alum” Jon Lovitz’s presence at the mansion.
Jon Lovitz’s Reacts to Claims About His Time at the Playboy Mansion

Crystal called Lovitz the Playboy Mansion’s “No. 1 customer,” Page Six reports. She added, “He would be up there all the time. His eyes would go front to back [looking at] all the women that walked through the door at the party.”
The former Playboy playmate also alleged he was a “perv” and a “lurker” and that his dog, Jerry, “peed all over the place,” Page Six reports. She added, “I remember him. Every time, every party.” Lovitz has since responded to the claims, seemingly unbothered by the allegations.
In an interview with Page Six on Tuesday, October 27, while leaving a restaurant in Los Angeles, Lovitz said: “Any time someone says I’m No. 1, it’s a compliment.” He also reacted to claims that he “lurked around” the Mansion. “Hugh Hefner was one of the nicest, most generous people I’ve ever met and all of his friends know it,” he said. “That’s all I have to say about that.”
Crystal Hefner & Jon Lovitz’s Public Disagreements
Crystal and Lovitz have had a public fallout before, when the former Playboy playmate expressed regret for marrying Hefner. She married Hefner in 2012. At the time, she was 26, and he was 86.
She shared her thoughts in an Instagram post, which sparked backlash from Lovitz, who, per the Daily Mail, commented: “Do you regret the house he bought for you to live in, after his death? And keeping the money, after you sold it? And all the times your mother was at the mansion? And do you regret all he did for you? And do you regret leaving him and then coming back to marry him?”
Crystal Hefner Defends Herself

In July 2026, Crystal defended herself in an interview with the Daily Mail. “People often reduce my marriage to assumptions about financial benefit, but that overlooks the reality of what I experienced,” she said. “My reflections aren’t motivated by money or resentment, but by honesty. I’m at a point in my life where I’m no longer afraid to speak openly about my own experiences. And I think there’s value in that conversation.”
She continued, “It’s disappointing to see someone who spent time enjoying that environment criticize a woman for speaking honestly about her own life. For years, there was an expectation that women should stay quiet to protect powerful men or preserve a certain image. I’m simply no longer willing to do that.” She also claimed that Lovitz’s dog was not allowed at the Playboy Mansion because it “repeatedly urinated on the curtains and damaged the property. Whether that contributed to his feelings toward me, I can’t say. I don’t have any ill will toward Jon, and I genuinely wish him well.”
